Shadows and Dust - Tribute to Gladiator

This is so different from anything I've ever done before, but I couldn't be happier with the result. It was my first real attempt at a landscape, and while there are mistakes, I learned a lot and had fun. 

This was done for a contest in honor of Gladiator's 15th anniversary. Done in Photoshop CS6 with my wacom tablet. 
Several movie stills were used in reference to Maximus' helmet, several different references for the wheat fields. Textures from here
